…for Severum, and finally one that can stick up for itself, meet Elphaba the green terror-

Not sure if it is male or female(i’m hoping female) yet as it is only about an inch long however even at this size it is living up to it’s name and holding it’s own with my severum which is about 5inches.

Size, 8-12 inches  and belligerent from the off, you need to be very careful which fish you choose as tank mates.  Not fussy with diet or water, however if you plan to breed these fish let them pair of from a group of young fish then they are less likely to damage or kill each other.

I am not going to breed this fish i have it just for it’s beauty.

I have a Severum or Severin…he’s now six years old. His mate died three years ago, and I haven’t been able to put any kind of fish in his tank since. He eats them all.

He is huge, too. He’ll eat a few worms from the garden, and still be ready for more food!

Yeah, to be fair Severum is not so much violent as a bit moody and the terror is the first to stand up to him…….in a way i think he likes it.
