…my wife look like? Well she has one eye, plenty buttons to push and often flashes-
or at least thats what it seem like as the above image is the view i get of her on so many occasions. She of course is a far better photographer than I.

…you thought it was safe to come off the tablets…i ave been feeling extremely good over the last month and figured it would be a good time to escape the anti-depressants So i have now been off them for about 2weeks and think i may have made a mistake! I now realise i may be on them for quite some time to come, if not for good. Reason being in the last week i have been getting progressivly more unbearable to be around. Anyway i’m returning to the medication so that i’m not so spikey i just hope i have caught it in time.

…of balls, and i mean that in the nicest way. Saltwell park have some sculptures installed one of which is of some granite balls-
there are others but this one was the best.

…bonsai, it has to be the best time of year if you’re into gardening as everything is coming back to life. Here is my berberis which is just starting to get it’s new buds, and it won’t be long before it flowers-
I do have a picture of it with leaf but i think i prefer it now when it is yawning and stretching.

…just getting into the car and disappearing for the day, which is what we did yesterday, Blackpool was the destination.
We had a horse and carriage ride went into lots of amusements and had chips on the pier, spending an obscene amount of moneyin the process considering we were only there for about 4hours.
I would however recommend it!

…on and this is where the fish tank stand and hood is up to…
…as you can see it’s still a bit rough around the edges but for the most part it is complete. There have been times over the fortnight when i thought i would never get it done, even to the point of almost taking it outside and building a big bonfire.
However persistence paid off and my first joinery project is almost ready to go, along with new external filter from Hydor (the prime 30) also in the picture. Hydor also do an external heater which attaches to the pump however i have been informed there are some small glitches with the product so i won’t be purchasing one just yet although i would like one in the future as it would mean less in the tank to distract from the fish.

…parents, risking it all to raise fry in what can only be described as a perilous situation, as both Severum and Oscar would eat the fry if given the chance. The white that you see around the Male T-bars mouth is unfortunatly the amount of damage he has sustained in defending the brood, and what looks like him eating fry i’s not he is just moving them to a safer area…if thats possible.
